CALLIE ALYSS MEYER
[/b]hey!
my name is cara, or carrie. i love this site - i found it in an advertisment. i also love roleplaying. in fact, i've been roleplaying for 3 or more years!
the character i am going to roleplay is callie, but you can call her/him cal. he/she is 14 years old and in his/her 4th year. he/she is true to the house of Hufflepuff. this character has brown hair and dark gray eyes.
callie has a very complicated personality. here, i'll explain it to you:
callie is very mellow to put it to you, she knows her limits and is very good with people. she often puts aside her own wants and comforts to help and make others happy.
when callie meets someone new at first she can be a litttle shy; her instincts are to be quiet and in the background. if callie meyer were a color she would probably be a pale green or light sky blue; a very nondescript, calming color.
callie may seem shy and small when you first meet her but once she warms up to you she can be very outgoing and fun to be around. she likes to do arty/crafty things and enjoys nature activities that don't include physical strain. callie isn't very athletic, but does what's nessicery to stay healthy.
in the posistion of goth verses chick, callie probabably stands in the loner/girl next door catagory. evryday callie watches the cliques and small 'possies' walk around school; she is still trying to find where she belongs.
character's name has also been through a lot in his/her life. i'll tell you a little about it:
callie was born and raised on a small ranch in england. she lived with her younger sisters, mary and laura and her father and mother, both muggles.
she had a good childhood, both her parents had steady jobs and the overall family was close and everything was happy. the house callie had once lived in was reasonably sized with white trim and apple trees in the yard.
but when callie turned ten, her father, the backbone of the meyer family, died. the whole of callie's world was turned upside down, her once perfect and serene cloudless days turned to stormy black.
when callie got her letter to hogwarts a few months later, she dicided not to attend. she wasn't going to leave her forlorn family now; thier bond was in the breaking point, almost lost.
a week later, callie's mother got a note saying she was accepted into some special work program. callie never got all the details, but the jist was: everything would be okay. callie could go to hogwarts; while her family relocated closer to the school.
callie was estatic and overjoyed; she waited a few more weeks then left on the hogwarts express, finally on her own.
still don't think i deserve to be accepted? well, i've got an rp sample that'll rock your sox off!!!
It was one of those nights for Kathleen Wilson. One of those nights where no matter how much you fuss and fidget, no matter how many times you change the channel, and no matter how many books you skim through, you still feel extremely bored. The fact that neither sleep nor going out to dinner where options, Kathleen found herself making up her mind to go out to Seattle for the night. Maybe there would be something out in Seattle that could hold her interest a little bit better than the small town of Forks. Once she had made that decision, Kathleen headed over to her closet and threw open the doors, tapping her fingers against her cheek as she mulled over her wardrobe options for the night. It was a bit chilly out tonight, and Kathleen knew that she had to take that into consideration, for while she wouldn't feel the cold, she was sure that the humans would notice if she wasn't dressed weather-appropriate. With a small sigh, Kathleen reached into her closet, and in record time she had dressed in a black dress and black shoes to match, forgetting about the whole "dress weather-appropriate" idea. After all, who dressed for the weather when they went out at night? Besides, she'd take a jacket to appease the humans.
Kathleen spent another ten minutes getting ready, getting things together, turning off all of the lights and grabbing a jacket. With one last glance about her living room, Kathleen slammed the door shut and trotted down the steps towards her car. Kathleen hadn't even bothered to lock the door to her house, but then again, she highly doubted that anyone in the town of Forks was secretly a burglar. Things like that simply didn't happen in Forks. Sure, the town had an abnormally high vampire population, but no hard-core human criminals. It was quite an odd situation, but then again, life was odd in general. Once she was in her car, Kathleen dumped her bag and jacket on the passenger seat next to her and brushed a few strands of golden hair out of her eyes before she stuck the keys into the ignition and put her Porsche into drive. Kathleen quickly pulled the car out of her driveway and started down the road. Despite the fact that she enjoyed running as fast as she possibly could, Kathleen wasn't so much of a speed demon when it came to her car. She wasn't sure what it was that made her slow down a bit when she drove but she was still trying to figure it out.
Even though she drove at a moderate speed, Kathleen found herself pulling into a parking garage in Seattle in a little over an hour after she had left her home in Forks. So, maybe she drove fast for a human, but slowly for a vampire. Stepping out of her car, Kathleen tossed her keys over to one of the car attendants before slipping on her jacket and grabbing her bag. As she walked out of the parking garage, Kathleen pulled her jacket tighter around her body so that it would appear as if the chilly temperature was actually effecting her. Vaguely, Kathleen knew that if she was still a human she would be freaking out at how cold it was, for, back down in Georgia it never really got this cold. Shaking her head lightly, Kathleen pushed that thought to the very back of her mind and glanced up and down the busy city street. The air was thick with the smell of humans, and the various perfumes and colognes that they were wearing. To be quiet honest, the perfumes bothered Kathleen more than the smell of human blood did. Kathleen had been living solely off of animals for so long that, while her thirst never felt fully satisfied, she was pretty good at restraining herself.
With a small, unnecessary sigh, Kathleen ran a hand through her hair before starting off down the street. She wasn't sure exactly where she was going, but being out and about was enough for Kathleen to be far more entertained than she had been at home. As she walked down the street, Kathleen stopped in her tracks and peered into a bookstore. Pressing her nose up to the glass, Kathleen glanced around the shop, debating whether or not to head inside. Kathleen took a step back from the store and glanced up, memorizing the name and location of the store. Knowing that she would be annoyed at having to carry around her purchases for the rest of the night, Kathleen continued on her way down the street, deciding to come back at a later time. If nothing else, it would give her another excuse to leave her house. Rounding the corner, Kathleen found herself on what she figured was the main area of night entertainment in Seattle. On her right side where a bunch of bars, and on her left, Kathleen saw several clubs. Arching a brow, Kathleen tilted her head to the side, wondering what on earth to do. Realizing that by going into a bar she would be subjecting herself to being hit on by shady men, Kathleen trotted across the street to peek into the clubs that lined the street.
