Outside, it was snowing heavily. Yes, it was beautiful, but that was only to watch from the inside. Outside, it was literally freezing.
Dominique pulled her down jacket closer to her. Her breath made mist in the air as she hurriedly walked to the Three Broomsticks. It seemed warm and cheerful inside. At the moment, the fifteen-year-old Ravenclaw was concentrating on making fresh footprints in the snow. It was a winter pastime she had enjoyed so much when she younger - but it didn't take the cold off her mind.
Freezing cold with snow crystals resting in her hair, Dominique pushed open the door with her gloved hand. At once, she felt better. It was much warmer inside here, and people were chattering casually. She had always loved visiting the Three Broomsticks; every time she visited there had been a friendly atmosphere and either warm or cold, depending on the season. However, today it was packed.
Dominique slipped through people standing and loudly talking to their friends with 'excuse me's' and 'sorry's'. Finally, she made it to the line. Strangely enough, the line was short and Dominique was quickly brought to the front. With no doubt, she blurted, A cup of hot cocoa, please. Although it was a muggle drink, it was warm and perfect for the season.
The drink was quickly brought to her. Moving out of the way for the next person, she scanned the shop for empty seats. She quickly caught sight of an empty seat across from a boy with very pale hair. It reminded her so much of the Malfoys.
She quickly and nimbly slipped through the crowd and reached the table. Sitting down, she realized that it was Malfoy. At once, a flood of memories reached her - Dad had told her more than once that the Malfoys were all for the Dark Lord. At once, she felt the familiar hatred and anger whenever she saw the boy around. He thought he was so great all because he was pure-blooded! Sure, she was pure-blooded, too, but she was what they had called a 'blood-traitor'. It was all so stupid! Anyway, Dominique sat down. Scorpius seemed to be gazing out of the window at something. She managed a short, emotionless, Hi.

Dominique let her hot cocoa cool a little bit before she took a sip from it. It was deliciously warm, and just cold enough so it didn't burn her tongue. The instant she swallowed a sip, she felt extremely warm, even by the cold window. She quickly took off her jacket and placed it safely next to her. She didn't need a down jacket in this place. Even sitting by Scorpius Malfoy, the great snob in the school, didn't ruin her sense of warmth in this cheerful pub.
Scorpius seemed unresponsive for a little while, to the point where Dominique got annoyed. She had an imagination, she just didn't use it often. Especially not daydreaming in the middle of a warm, joyful pub where she could be sharp and happy.
Finally, she thought it would be better to stand up and drink her cocoa. Why waste her breath on someone who was too silly to notice her? But, as soon as she was about to leave, Scorpius turned and replied, Why are you sitting here with me?
Dominique was a little annoyed at his response. Before she could control herself, she blurted out in an irritated tone, Do you have eyes or not? There's no other place to sit. Dominique could often be sharp like that. She wasn't mean, she just got annoyed a little sometimes when somebody didn't reply to her in a timely manner. She muttered a very quiet, Sorry. SHe was sure Scorpius Malfoy wouldn't have the kindness to say sorry if his temper flared out at someone. She was started to get cold since she hadn't had a sip of her hot cocoa for a few minutes and her coat was off. Under her jacket, she was just wearing a half-sleeved t-shirt. It had a fish on it, and bubbles. For her pants, jeans. She instantly took another sip of the hot cocoa. He took a swig from his bottle and rested his elbow onto the table. He found Dominique to be rather fascinating, it was rumoured that she was part veela from some side of the family and he’d admit that it must have been a rather interesting characteristic to have. word count: 328 written for: dominique weasley comments: --- [/blockquote][/ul]

Dominique bent down to take a sip of her hot cocoa. She glanced outside, feeling almost like ignoring this Malfoy boy. Because she was 1/8 veela, she had a very hot temper. Luckily, she didn't twist her face up and grow fangs when she became angry. However, she could become pretty nasty if she decided that she really hated you. However, right now, she realized that she barely knew him. So, she decided to be nice for once because, well, frankly, she didn't want to be off on bad terms with...anybody, really. And she was rather happy now that she was sheltered from the cold winds and sipping a nice hot drink. Plus, she had finished all her homework, leaving her plenty of free time to just have fun. She didn't really listed to what that Malfoy said. Something about incorrect upbringing. "Well, I know I have had correct upbringing, and you must be pretty decent if you even attend Hogwarts." she said lightly, giving a small smile before taking another sip of her drink. OOC: museless lol

She clearly wasn’t paying attention to a word that he said. He found it rather infuriating that someone’s full attention shouldn’t be on him, especially when he was throwing a rather obvious insult their way. It left for a rather pointless argument. Yet he continued to sit there with her, the pair of them sipping away at their drinks, making eye contact with everyone in the Three Broomsticks but each other. Scorpius noted that a few Hufflepuffs were casting a curious look in his direction. Judging that they didn’t look old enough to be anything higher then second years he shot them a rather furious glare back. This, he supposed, is what happens when your seen with anyone from another house other then your own. People start to thing that your ‘approachable’ and next thing you know your sitting with the Gryffindors giggling at stupid stuff. “Honestly Weasley if your not going to at least keep me entertained on this rather dull morning I may as well be sat on my own”Ooc: I apologise for shortness. word count: 210 written for: dominique weasley comments: --- [/blockquote][/ul]
