JOSEPHINA LINDSEY MACMILLAN
[/b]hey!
my name is tessa, or tess. i love this site - i found it from skye. i also love roleplaying. in fact, i've been roleplaying for almost two years!
the character i am going to roleplay is josephina lindsey macmillan, but you can call her/him josie. she is eleven years old and in her first year. she is true to the house of hufflepuff. this character has blond hair and gray-green eyes.
josie has a very complicated personality. here, i'll explain it to you: One thing's right: Josie's kinda messed-up and rowdy. She would rather roll in the mud than read a book. She is very boyish, but maintains good looks anyway. She is a very smart girl, but doesn't really use her brain on anything, so she comes out as average. She doesn't really try at anything in class - she hates school, but loves weekends and going to Hogsmeade. Because she is only a first-year and this is her first year away from her parents, she is very lonely. However, that doesn't stop her from doing her usual mischief. She finds no reason why she shouldn't yell out answers in class, or even go to class, so she skips classes whenever shee can. She often plays pranks on teachers and ends up subtracting points from Hufflepuff's house cup change, but who wants a big old gold trophy anyway?
Despite all her mischievous and rowdy ways, she is truly a kind-hearted little girl. There is no doubt that she would help anyone in need, and the Sorting Hat saw this and so put her into Hufflepuff. And now people are saying she's not fit to be a Hufflepuff. She certainly is, she just hasn't had a chance to display her kindness yet. So far, to the rest of the Hufflepuffs, she's an annoying little dirty tricker imp. But a cute imp, all the same.
Being the youngest in a family of four children, Josie grew up knowing that others were better than her, more skilled than her, but also looking up to people and relying on people. However, this was a problem once she came to Hogwarts. She thinks that every other Hufflepuff is so much smarter than her, but really she has a lot going on in that pretty blonde head, just she doesn't use it in an appropriate way. Also, she tends to rely on people. Like, if she asked a friend to copy down a due essay, she expects them to do it on their own time. However, she doesn't have a quick temper, so that's a good thing.
character's name has also been through a lot in his/her life. i'll tell you a little about it: She was born on July 16th. She was the youngest of four children, and instantly fondled. She grew up very spoilt. She relied on many people and expected peoplt to wait on her when she asked for something. However, her parents soon straightened it out so she was not to self-centered anymore. They were surprised to see the real her; a kind, gentle person who had a habit of being rowdy and mischievous at times.
She became very close to her sister, Charlotte Macmillan. Charlotte was six years older, but they had many good times together. All too soon Charlotte got her Hogwarts letter. Josie, age four, begged to go along to Diagon Alley.
That was her first glimpse of the huge, enormous place. She was instantly awed. It had many wonderful things. She even begged her mom so much that she bought her a tiny kitten at Magical Menagarie. She named the black kitten Sympathy, Symmy for short.
She soon heard that Charlotte had been sorted into Hufflepuff, and from then on, she wanted to be in Hufflepuff so bad. She watched all her siblings go but she was very sad. When Charlotte came home now, she was happy, but she was full of news to tell to Mom and Dad, leaving little to no time to have fun with Josie like they used to have when they were little.
As soon as Josie got her Hogwarts letter, she prayed to God every night: Oh please let me be in Hufflepuff. Please. And her wish was granted.
still don't think i deserve to be accepted? well, i've got an rp sample that'll rock your sox off!!! Outside, it was snowing heavily. Yes, it was beautiful, but that was only to watch from the inside. Outside, it was literally freezing.
Dominique pulled her down jacket closer to her. Her breath made mist in the air as she hurriedly walked to the Three Broomsticks. It seemed warm and cheerful inside. At the moment, the fifteen-year-old Ravenclaw was concentrating on making fresh footprints in the snow. It was a winter pastime she had enjoyed so much when she younger - but it didn't take the cold off her mind.
Freezing cold with snow crystals resting in her hair, Dominique pushed open the door with her gloved hand. At once, she felt better. It was much warmer inside here, and people were chattering casually. She had always loved visiting the Three Broomsticks; every time she visited there had been a friendly atmosphere and either warm or cold, depending on the season. However, today it was packed.
Dominique slipped through people standing and loudly talking to their friends with 'excuse me's' and 'sorry's'. Finally, she made it to the line. Strangely enough, the line was short and Dominique was quickly brought to the front. With no doubt, she blurted, A cup of hot cocoa, please. Although it was a muggle drink, it was warm and perfect for the season.
The drink was quickly brought to her. Moving out of the way for the next person, she scanned the shop for empty seats. She quickly caught sight of an empty seat across from a boy with very pale hair. It reminded her so much of the Malfoys.
She quickly and nimbly slipped through the crowd and reached the table. Sitting down, she realized that it was Malfoy. At once, a flood of memories reached her - Dad had told her more than once that the Malfoys were all for the Dark Lord. At once, she felt the familiar hatred and anger whenever she saw the boy around. He thought he was so great all because he was pure-blooded! Sure, she was pure-blooded, too, but she was what they had called a 'blood-traitor'. It was all so stupid! Anyway, Dominique sat down. Scorpius seemed to be gazing out of the window at something. She managed a short, emotionless, Hi.[/color][/i]
