my name is Rosalie, or Rosie. i love this site - i found it a while ago and I'm just rejoining. i also love roleplaying. in fact, i've been roleplaying for almost 2 years!
the character i am going to roleplay is Thalia Jacob Drew, but you can call her Thalia. she is 15 years old and in her 5th year. she is true to the house of Slytherin. this character has red hair and green eyes.
Thalia has a very complicated personality. here, i'll explain it to you: Quiet little Thalia sits in the corner of every class, trying not to be seen. Surprisingly this silent girl was sorted into Slytherin for reasons unknown to her. Foolish Thalia, falling in love at this young of age. Love is the strongest weapon remember. He left her, though he promised he'd never leave her. Heart broken she lives her life in sorrow.
Thalia has close no friends, due to the fact that she is afraid to reach out to other people because of her loss. She is paranoid if she makes a friend they will leave her just like her love did. She'll talk to classmates or others in her house, but other than that she has no close comrades. She hopes to make a real true friend this year. Someone she can confide the balling up sadness in her heart. Maybe one of you can talk to her, she pleads for a soul that she can confide in.
Thalia has also been through a lot in her life. i'll tell you a little about it: Thalia grew up in an all pure blood family, but not all of her family has been Slytherin. Her parents Emily Rose (now Emily Drew) and Jacob Drew, were both in Gryffindor. She has a brother at Hogwarts in Hufflelpuff named, Christopher Drew who's in his seventh year.
He's is really the only one she can talk to about anything. At about thirteen years old and her third year at Hogwarts she met Alex Burgens,
who later turned out to be the boy she loves and her reason for sorrow. In previous years at Hogwarts her life had been happy and loved, her personality at the time was almost the complete opposite that she is now. Entering their fourth year at Hogwarts Alex met up with his old girlfriend in secret. Later that year Thalia found out he was cheating on her and immediately after her heart dropped into the dark pit she's in now.still don't think i deserve to be accepted? well, i've got an rp sample that'll rock your sox off!!! (Do you remember this thread? :] ) Thorn was standing in a small meadow. It was perfectly round, filled with multicolored wildflowers that bloomed here and there. Somewhere near by a stream, bubbled, the water falling over small stones at the bottom of the river. The sun was directly over head, beating down, filling the whole circle with it's warmth.
She took a few paces forward, the grass tickled her ankles, while birds called overhead. The meadow was a beautiful place, but also eerie. Dense forest encircled around the small clearing that was non inhabited with trees.
Thorn felt her pocket for her wand just in case, it wasn't there. She turned out the inside pocked of her robes for her wand. Where was it? Thorn thought, bewildered. Then the memories of what had happened all came rushing back to her and hit her like a lightning bolt. Thorn had been helping Joshua fight the dementors on the train, she had been an OK job compared to the 6th year boy. But then had fallen, her patronus had evaporated and she had blacked out ... Then if I'm out cold, then why was she here? In this strange field, just standing here...
Suddenly there was a crinkle and a crack of leaves and a twig under foot. Someone was coming through the forest with out a wand to protect her all Thorn could do was stand there, frozen by who the person approaching was. She stared at the place where she knew the person who ever it was would come out of, where she had heard the nosies.
A dark figure came into view of Thorn's eyes, she couldn't see his face, but she knew it was a man somehow. Looking closer all that she could really make out on the mans features where his eyes, they where like liquid topaz, burning into Thorn's for some reason calm, chocolate brown ones. He looked to be about a teenager just like her, but maybe a little older, about 17 maybe? The man just stood there, it seemed like he didn't want to go out into the open sunlight, he wanted to stay covered in the dark forest, like a snake waiting in the dark to then pounce on his unexpected prey.
Thorn's first intention was to run, to flee, but her legs wouldn't move, she was to scared, frozen to the spot, like a statue. He flashed her a evil grin and revealed, glittering white, sharp, prefect teeth. He raised his arm which seemed to have his wand in it and pointed it at Thorn.
Then, the man finally stepped out of the shadows. He was tall, thin and lean. With the burning eyes and his flash of brilliant white teeth. His hair was a dark brown and his skin pale, as though he had spent most of her time in the dark. Shadows pocketed under his eyes, making his appearance even more unnerving.
The man then raised his wand again, to cast another spell, but this time there was a blinding flash of green light. The last Thorn had seen of the man was his lips move to cast the spell and the smug smirk his face as he killed Thorn. And she again was plunged into complete darkness.
The small second she was in the dark Thorn knew this was how she was going to die. It was unknown to her how she knew, but it was just like a prophecy. You can try and avoid it, but in the end they always come true. Thorn was going to die.
She awoke with a start, her head spun and she couldn't understand what had just happened. Now only a soft drizzle of rain fell outside, the train. The cozy aroma of a light compartment drifted around the sides of her vision. It felt warm, happy in the small room.
The dementors had gone, Josh had got them all to leave, to flee. Glancing around she saw Joshua, who lay next to her his eyes closed, he was panting. Lily sat in her cat form under one of the seats and Ray sat on the other. Dragging herself up she crawled over to Josh. "Josh."She said urgently, making sure he was still alive. "Are you ok? What happened back there?"
