ERIC HIHARA
[/b]hey!
my name is CeCe, or Pong. i love this site - i found it advertised on another site. i also love roleplaying. in fact, i've been roleplaying for 2 years!
the character i am going to roleplay is Eric Hihara, but you can call him Eric. he is 14 years old and in his fourth year. he is true to the house of Gryffindor. this character has black hair and brown eyes.
Eric has a very complicated personality. here, i'll explain it to you:
Eric is cheerful, funny, understanding, and kind, practically the ideal person. But he also has many flaws. For example, he's unbelievably naive, which can be used against him. He is also very humble and tends to be bullied alot. He also seems to be very reluctant to let go of dreams or ideas, thinking everything will last forever.
But past all those set-backs, he's extremely kind-hearted and loyal to his friends. He is never shy in the face of a new-comer and is usually the first to make an introduction. He is incredibly happy-go-lucky and a bit oblivious to rude remarks against him.
And past that, he's dark, sinister, and lonely....
Eric has also been through a lot in his/her life. i'll tell you a little about it:
Eric's parents were apparently 'on the good side' but couldn't deny their pureblood and Slytherin heritage. Thus, they sought out to make Eric the best of the best, buying him un-needed things, teaching him things he wouldn't learn until his 7th year, and telling him that he would be better than his classmates. Their oppressive behavior started after his brother died. Eric figured that his parents were acting rashly and would soon get over it, but that was not the case. Their teachings continued until Eric felt suffocated. He had started to hide his true feelings of anguish and despair.
A year before he enrolled at Hogwarts, he had met Santa Claus at a mall during Christmas. His father was there to pass on information about the enemy undetected and had brought Eric along. Eric was fascinated by the bearded fat man in red. He had asked,' Mr. Claus, why do you never bring me presents?' and Santa answered,' Well... that's because you weren't a very good boy. Remember to always listen to your parents no matter what, and I'll bring you something nice'. Ever since then, Eric has put up with his parents' obsessive attitude and is still awaiting his present. He has no problem with telling others about this experience, which would be one reason why he's bullied.
still don't think i deserve to be accepted? well, i've got an rp sample that'll rock your sox off!!!
The boy stared at the crackling fire as it lapped up at the air, as if trying to reach an invisible object. The boy envied the fire. It had something to do. It gave warmth to those who were cold. It cooked food for those who were hungry. Unlike himself, who was being turned into a mindless zombie by his parents. He had no dream, no aim in life.
He heard the soft chime of the clock in the Gryffindor Common Room as its the hand grazed over the midnight mark. This was the only time he was able to show his true emotions, the feelings that were repressed during the day. He felt like he could tear the whole room apart, but how would it turn out in the morning? Sure, Eric Hihara was probably the friendliest person in the whole academy and in one single day befriended at least 30 fellow students, but it was just a facade, an act, a mask he wore in the presence of his friends.
His face was sad, angry, and stressed all at the same time. It was as if he couldn't fit another feeling in there, but he could: loneliness. He knew alot of his friends were just pretending to like him or were just trying to get some dirty info on him. Years of doing it trained his eyes to see it.
" Eric? Is that you? " A sleepy voice called behind him. Eric turned to see who the intruder was, and saw that it was his best friend Sean. Sean was one of the few he could truly call his best friend.
" Uh, yeah, what are you doing up? " Eric quickly put his smile back on. Most likely, he wasn't quick enough and Sean saw the angst deep inside of him. Then again, it was dark and Sean seemed a bit out of it.
" I could ask you the same thing, " Sean yawned. If he had seen the real Eric, he wasn't showing any signs. " Come on to bed. "
" Ah, sorry, sorry. I was just excited, y'know? " Eric answered and scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
" Yeah, I hear you. Now, c'mon, " Sean turned and headed back to the boy dorms without checking if Eric would follow.
He was a bit hesitant to follow, but the tiredness tugged on his eyes and a yawn escaped his mouth. His happiness, his friends, his naiveness were all just a lie. Lie, Lie, Lie, Lie, Lie....
I'm just a wolf in sheep's clothing...
well, that's all about Eric. oh, and to make my application complete, the secret password is hogwartsrules. thank you, and i hope i get accepted!
bye!
